Peter Jensen SS2014
If you know me at all you will know I like big t-shirt style dresses. I just like sleeves... And these designs by Peter Jensen are so so great. The Diana SS2014 collection is full of desirables...

Zakka Mart
I'm not normally one to care about Halloween and i'll admit I had to look up specifically what date Halloween actually falls (it's today)... but this year I stumbled across a few cute ideas for costumes. We don't really do Halloween parties here but where I go rock climbing at The Edge, there is an opportunity to dress up tonight to get free entry for climbing. Tempting... but I think i'd end up spending more on a costume then the actual entry fee!
Anyway, this little store Zakka Mart has the cutest collection of mugs to disguise your face and transform you into a pig, cat or moustached man. And they're so affordable!

The Home-Journal
So not much action has been happening by me over at The Home-Journal recently but this week I talk about dressing your home like you dress yourself. It's an interesting concept, but works...

Malene Birger's Spanish farmhouse
I recently stumbled across this house on Est and instantly fell head over heels in love. It belongs to Danish fashion designer Malene Birger but is actually on the market at the moment for a small sum of 1,295,000 Euros (if you're interested)!!
The renovated farmhouse is located in the valley of S’Arracó in Andratx in south-west Mallorca, Spain. Tempted?

Lyn Devon
New York Fashion Week is still ongoing, and the amount of incredible designs on show are gorgeous! These designs are by New York designer Lyn Devon who was recently married. Her Spring 2014 collection is inspired by her pre-wedding honeymoon in the Sahara Desert and Marrakech. I love the lines, colours and classic look it invokes...

Rogan Square Chair
Recently found on Pinterest, the Rogan Square Chair has actually been around forever... like so far back as 2006... but this is the first I have seen of it. NYC based fashion designer Rogan Gregory created the chair along with some lighting designs. The combination of materials: vegetable tanned leather and raw steel, creates this mid-century style of chair in a very modern and sleek form. I don't think it's available now, however to stumble upon an original would be quite the score.

Nina Ricci Resort 2014
Nina Ricci's Resort 2014 just makes me long for Spring to come. It's so close and we are getting a bit of that summery blue skies and sun but the cold air is such a put-off. Anyway, this collection says it all...
(ps - that third image of the beautiful yellow dress just makes me scream 'posture!!' Classic models...)
