Bridget Bodenham

Bridget Bodenham is a Victoria based ceramicist who's works are stocked throughout Melbourne at Mr Kitly, Craft Victoria and Pieces of Eight. Growing up in the Sunshine Coast, Bodenham she always worked with her hands. Her works often reflect nature from her inspiration of where she grew up and also where she lives now, in Hepburn Springs, VIC. On top creating these clay masterpieces, Bodenham also teaches at Ballarat University and Ballarat Fine Art Gallery.

I particularly love the rock and pebble inspired mortar and pestles and the pouring lips to the clean-lined vessels.

Hayden Youlley

Last Saturday I attended The Finders Keepers markets for the first time... I've been wanting to attend for a while but each time it has been in Sydney I've had something else on. Anyways, so the markets have a crazy amount of amazing artisans and creatives from across Australia. I've already blogged about some of the talent who showcased including McKean Studio and The Print Society and I'll fill you in on some more of my favourites in a while...

One stall I just couldn't walk away from was Hayden Youlley Design. Hayden studied design at COFA, majoring in ceramics and object design. Afterwards he continued studying ceramics at the University of Illinois. His design philosophy is about instilling pure enjoyment through the use of his products. His range of products features lighting, tableware and ornamental designs and can be found at these stores.

Emby Love

On the weekend, J and I went out to Rouse Hills' Boutique Markets for brunch and a browse... One stall stood out to me from all the clothes and jewellery stalls... Emby Love is a picnic blanket stall started by an at-home mum who has taught herself to sew. Read the full story on the website (here), it's just a little bit cute!
